Just the Highlights
Sweden was the perfect start to my Summer 2022 travels. It was a stark contrast to my usual life here in India, but I appreciated the differences. From the time I landed I remembered thinking, this is SOOO IKEA! Everything was clean, fresh, and simple.
Here's an overview of how I spent 5 days in Stockholm. For a more detailed look on the trip, check out a more in-depth blog post here!
Airport: Fly into ARN. It’s about 23 miles outside of the city. Take the Arlanda Express to the city and back to the airport. A round-trip ticket is about $53.
Hotel: The Sheraton Stockholm was centrally located with comfortable beds, good breakfast, and standard amenities. Other hotels nearby included the Radisson Blu and Scandic hotels.

Close curtains before going to sleep. In the summer the sun rises at 3:30am and sets around 10pm.
Pack layers to stay warm/cool throughout the day
Comfortable shoes (*sneakers*) are a must!
Book the trip and get outside! Stockholm is definitely a sight to see!
